A 37-year-old man was gunned down while walking home in Pashley Street, Laventille last night.
Jason “Baba” Amarsingh was returning home around 9:30p.m. when he was shot several times in the head by a gunman. The assailant then fled the scene. Residents heard the shots and when they investigated they found Amarsingh on the ground bleeding from gunshot wounds. The police were called in and found Amarsingh on the ground bleeding from bullet wounds. He died on the spot.
Amarsingh was returning home from a social event in Trou Macacque known as “Harlem”.
