Man pretends to be gay to avoid arranged marriage

A man revealed on Reddi that he pretended to be gay to avoid an arranged marriage

A man revealed on Reddi that he pretended to be gay to avoid an arranged marriage set up by his parents. But his parents had other plans once learning the fake news.

ArrMarriageAvoidance, a Reddit user, described himself as a 26-year-old Indian American male and posted the situation in the “Today, Dear Reddit. I F*cked Up” subreddit.

He claimed his parents pressured him to marry because he was getting older and needed to settle down so they could have grandchildren.

However, he claimed to be non-confrontational and lied about being gay, hoping they would no longer press him to marry.

After making the phony confession, his parents left him alone until they began compiling a list of men who would be ideal for him.

He also made it clear at the beginning of the post that he’s slightly bi as he’s attracted to women and femboys.
