A lime in Malick on Thursday night turned fatal for one man, and left a married couple hospitalised.
Police said 31-year-old Vishan Rambeir was liming with friends at a house on Eighth Street, Upper Sixth Avenue, Malick, around 8:20 pm when a group of gunmen stormed the house and shot them.
Rambeir was shot several times.
The woman was shot in her arm and midsection while her husband was shot in his left shoulder.
Officers of the Morvant CID, the San Juan CID and the North Eastern Division Task Force were called in and took Rambeir to the Port-of-Spain General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The couple was also taken to hospital.
Enquiries are currently underway.
