A 26-year-old man, who police believe stole a vehicle in August, will appear before a Port-of-Spain Magistrate, charged with the offence.
STEPHON DANCLAIR, of Doolarie Trace, Bourg Mulatresse, Lower Santa Cruz was charged with larceny of a motor vehicle by W/Cpl (Ag.) Rivers of the San Juan Criminal Investigations Department.
According to a police report made to the Santa Cruz Police Station on August 8th, 2020 a man from Lower Santa Cruz parked his Silver Toyota Tercel valued at $15,000, in front of his home leaving the keys in the ignition and proceeded to open the gate to his driveway when it is alleged that the accused jumped into the vehicle and sped off.
The vehicle contained his wallet containing his driver’s permit, bank and credit cards and his cellular phone.
The vehicle was recovered on August 11th, 2020.
