Macqueripe Bay will be opened before the Easter weekend.
That’s the promise from Minister of Planning and Development Camille Robinson-Regis.
Mrs Robinson-Regis toured the beach facility this morning and noted that all remedial works at the facility have been completed.
She assured the public that Macqueripe Bay is once again safe.
Macqueripe Bay is expected to be opened tomorrow (Thursday) to the public. Earlier in March the facility was closed to the public due to concerns about the facility’s structural integrity.
