Quavo and Lori Harvey have set the record straight after the pair were spotted grabbing a bite to eat together in West Hollywood, which has since sparked dating rumors.
Earlier this week, Harvey — who is currently dating Snowfall actor Damson Idris — was spotted leaving the Bungalows in West Hollywood at the same time as the former Migos member.
Soon after, a TikTok — which captured photos of the duo leaving the location separately made its rounds — in which a user by the name of Alexandria Danielle speculated about the potential of a budding romance. “I love that for her,” said Danielle. “Keep doing your thing, I am here for this.”
Meanwhile, on Wednesday (July 12), Harvey was quick to respond to the gossip as she commented directly under the post, writing: “Lmao no I was having lunch with my besties who are right behind me.”
Danielle later apologized to Harvey, responding: “Lori!! I made a comment that this was fake news!! It’s all love, you are the moment (yellow heart emoji).”
On the flip side, Quavo appeared unfazed by all the hearsay. “Shidd cap (cap emoji),” he wrote in his apparent response via Instagram Stories.
The daughter of comedy legend Steve Harvey has been linked to Future, Michael B. Jordan, and Dutch soccer player Memphis Depay who reportedly proposed to her in 2017 after the two had dated for two years.
Most recently, she and Idris confirmed their relationship as part of the model’s birthday celebrations earlier this year, after the pair were spotted having a date night in Los Angeles a month prior. Photos from Harvey’s 26th birthday bash included a snap of the SKN by LH founder smiling as Idris laid a kiss on her.
Quavo on the other hand dated fellow rapper Saweetie for three years before the pair went their separate ways.
The duo began dating in September 2018 after the “Intentions” rhymer hopped into her DMs with a snowflake emoji. They made their relationship public during New York Fashion Week that same year.
However, following two years of social media PDA and “relationship goals,” fans started to think something was awry when Saweetie did an interview with her ex-boyfriend (and Diddy’s son) Justin Combs for his new REVOLT show Respectfully, Justin.
During their conversation, the Icy Girl said she’d participate in a threesome but only with another man.
“A threesome, right?” she asked. “A threesome, right ladies? I normally talk to men who are cultured, who’s been around the world, who know a lot of people. But because he doing everything right, I’m going to give him the honor of picking the n-gga who we gon’ have a threesome with.”
The rumors that there was trouble in paradise were confirmed shortly thereafter after the pair unfollowed each other on Twitter.
