The Localised Flood Alert has been discontinued by the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service.
In a media release, the Met Service said water channels have largely returned to normal levels and localized ponding has reduced in most areas. It said isolated areas can still experience street flooding and ponding in the vicinity of heavy afternoon showers and thunderstorms.
The Met Service says people should monitor weather conditions and the condition of their surroundings and do not wade or drive through flood waters.
