Madame Justice Joan Charles today ruled in favour of the Attorney General and dismissed the claim by Akili Charles who attempted to apply for bail while on a murder charge.
In a media release issued by the Office of the Attorney General, that from time immemorial Judges not grant bail to a person who was charged for murder.
The argument for Akili Charles was made by his attorneys, Anand Ramlogan SC and Jayanti Lutchmedial.
