Jonathan Majors attorney claims charges will be dropped after they release video evidence

Creed III actor Jonathan Majors attorney claims the star is the victim of a domestic altercation for which he was arrested.

In a statement on Sunday, Majors’ attorney, Priya Chaudhry said he is ‘completely innocent and is probably the victim of an alteration with a woman he knows.’

She previously said she expects the charges against the star to be dropped, citing video evidence she says exonerates him of the assault on his girlfriend, who she claims recanted her statements.

The attorney defending Majors from the allegations never referred to the woman involved as his girlfriend and said she expected the new evidence she plans to present will vindicate her client.

Majors, 33, was taken into custody on Saturday morning on assault charges after allegedly beating his girlfriend inside a vehicle.

Meanwhile the Army’s Enterprise Marketing Office in a statement on Sunday said that the Army was aware of Majors’ arrest and was “deeply concerned by the allegations.” It added that while Majors “is innocent until proven guilty, prudence dictates that we pull our ads until the investigation into these allegations is complete.”
