Jamaica PM Andrew Holness To Participate In A Series Of Independence Day Celebrations

Prime Minister of Jamaica, Andrew Holness, will be a part of Trinidad and Tobago’s 60th Anniversary of Independence celebrations.

Acting Deputy Commissioner of Police, Intelligence and Investigation, Wendell Williams, said Prime Minister Holness will be in the country the day before and will take part in the day’s events as well as a special police function.

DCP Williams made the revelation during the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service news briefing, which was held at the Police Administration Building, Port-of-Spain, on Thursday.

DCP Williams also provided information on some of the unique features which will be displayed by a special unit on the day and its significance.
