The Ministry of Health issued the following update on T&Ts COVID-19 status.
In its latest clinical update, the Ministry noted the the new case is a recently repatriated person. It also stated that the result reflects sample taken during the period February 8 th – 10 th and not the last 24 hours.
Currently, there are 178 active cases of the virus in Trinidad and Tobago.
The update further stated that 28 patients are at hospital with the virus.
Meanwhile, 224 persons are at stated quarantine facilities, 149 are in home self-isolation. None are at step-down facilities.
Of the total number of confirmed covid19 cases in the country, 7 632, some 7 318 have recovered.
The death toll remains at 136.
