A one year old boy is warded in serious but stable condition at hospital, after he was found unresponsive in a pool in Morvant.
The child was at the home of a relative in Redhill, Morvant around 11:30am yesterday.
He was last seen watching the television while the relative did some chores.
A few minutes later, when the relative returned, they could not locate the one-year-old.
Checks were made and he was found to be lying inside an Intex swimming pool.
The child was quickly removed from the pool and taken for medical treatment.
He is currently warded at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex in Mt Hope.
