Owners of COVID-19 safe zones establishments in Trinidad and Tobago who failed to adhere to the stipulated requirements when the move takes effect from October 11th this year will be subject to a fine which is being worked out by the government.
Speaking at a news briefing held at the Diplomatic Center, St Ann’s Thursday afternoon, Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister, Stuart Young, said the government is reviewing a penalty system where consideration is being given to for the first and second infractions suspension takes place and on the third occasion the establishment is closed out for being a safe zone and may have revert to take out service.
