Police are investigating the murder of a 32-year-old man in Tunapuna on Friday.
The victim, Joshua Nicholas Le PLatte, of St Vincent Street, Tunapuna, was said to be driving his car along St John Street, Tunapuna, when two men fired shots at his vehicle.
The incident occurred at around 5:45pm.
Witnesses told police that Le Platte’s car crashed into a wall and he was then seen exiting the vehicle and running away.
However, he was chased and caught by his attackers, who succeeded in finishing their job, shooting Le Platte several times.
The suspects then escaped, while Le Platte died at the scene.
