Immigration Officers placed in quarantine after testing positive for COVID-19

National Security Minister, Stuart Young, says appropriate measures have been taken after three Immigration Officers recently contracted COVID-19.

Responding to a question on the issue by Opposition Senator, Wade Mark, today, Minister Young revealed how the situation was being handled.

Senator Mark wanted Minister Young to indicate whether a regular testing COVID-19 programme for persons in such contact intensive jobs will be implemented.
