Citizens have been warned against using the IGNITE brand of safety matches with immediate effect.
This advice comes from the T&T Bureau of Standards.
In a public statement, the Bureau says the matches have been rigorously tested and found to be unsafe, posing a risk to consumers.
It adds that people should refrain from purchasing or using the product.
It is also urging people to contact the Bureau if you have any information about the sale of the product.
