U.S rapper Ice Spice was personally invited to the Met Gala by Anna Wintour
According to TMZ, the singer was hand selected by Vogue editor Ana Wintour to appear at the Met Gala in New York City.
The site maintained that the fashion editor wanted 23-year-old Spice there to spice things up in a custom-made Balmain gown.
Spice’s inaugural Met Gala experience follows last month’s starring turn in a news SKIMS campaign, alongside PinkPantheress, Nessa Barrett, and RAYE.
“Ice Spice, Nessa Barrett, Pinkpantheress, and RAYE are super talented women and truly reflect our SKIMS community,” SKIMS creative director Kim Kardashian said when rolling out the Vanessa Beecroft-captured campaign images.
