Guyana Amazon Warriors To Take On Jamaica Tallawahs For Spot In CPL Finals

Guyana Amazon Warriors will have another chance to secure a place in the finals of the 2022 Caribbean Premier League T20 Competition when they take on Jamaica Tallawahs on Wednesday at 7pm.

Warriors will have the backing of their home crowd playing at the Guyana National Stadium, Providence.

Barbados Royals have already booked their place in the finals which will be played on Friday at 7pm.

Royals won qualifier number one against Warriors by 87 runs on Tuesday.

In the day’s second game, Tallawahs defeated St Lucia Kings by 33 runs.

Scores in the game – Tallawahs 148 for 8, Shamarh Brooks, top scored with 47 runs.

In reply, Kings were dismissed for 115 all out.

South African captain Faf Du Plessis led the way with 41 runs.

Bowling for Tallawahs, Fabian Allen and Mohammed Nabi had three wickets each.
