Besson Street police are searching for a gunman who shot at a 56-year-old Laventille man on Sunday morning.
The man reported that around 2:30am, he was lying on a couch in the living room of his Prizgar Lands, Laventille, home when a man walked through the front door and pointed a gun at him.
Acting quickly to save his life, the man said he threw a glass bottle at the gunman who shot at him.
The gunman then escaped.
