Government Starts Ground Work On Restrcuturing The Public Service

Back ground work is taking place relating to restructuring of the public service.

This is being done in terms of legislative adjustments which will be needed in this area.

Minister of Public Administration, Allyson West, made the disclosure in the Senate on Friday during the question and answer period.

Independent Senator, Dr Paul Richards, asked if there was a specific timeline the government was working with to complete the process.

In response, Minister West said during the course of 2024 it is the government’s wish to come to the parliament  with amendments to legislation regarding this development.
