Praedial Larceny squad hold man with stolen farming equipment

One man was arrested and stolen farming equipment recovered by officers of the Praedial Larceny Squad on Thursday 23rd November.

Reports state that at around 12pm, a party of officers led by Sergeant Jeffers and including PC Brathwaite and WPC Burnley, were on mobile patrol, when they responded to a report of larceny at the Orange Grove Farming estate.

The officers conducted a search of a bushy area and found one 250 stihl weedwacker, one electrical backpack sprayer and one royal condor backpack sprayer, which were reported stolen from a farm in the area. A 19 year old Venezuelan national was arrested.

The man was taken to the Arouca Police Station where enquiries continue.
