Forty-seven year old Raymond Weekes and his brother Andy Weekes were both gunned down in Belmont on Friday afternoon.
The incident occurred around 4.30 pm along Davis Street, off the Belmont Valley Road.
Police reports state that the brothers were standing along the road when they were approached by two men, one of whom was dressed in camouflage.
The gunmen pulled out firearms and then fired several shots at the two brothers before running off.
Both men were construction workers.
Police officers attached to the Homicide Bureau of Investigations Region I are investigating.
