Former police commissioner and Political Leader of the National Transformation Alliance, Gary Griffith wrote to Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley and Opposition Leader Kamla Persad- Bissessar asking them to let him help in the fight against crime.
In a video message via his Facebook page on Sunday, Griffith said he had a sound track record showing a major reduction in crime during his tenure as National Security Minister and Commissioner of Police.
Griffith said “the team that worked with me previously can get this done, let us put politics aside.”
“We do not need a posts or positions. I have the capability not only to guide those in authority to do what is required to peg back the criminal elements, but also to bring together a team who previously worked with me to manage a similar scenario and get it done again.”
Griffith is also calling on citizens to not be blinded by politics, as the nation is drowning in blood.
