Five year old dies after 21 days at hospital

Amani McIntyre, has died after 21 days at hospital. The five-year-old who suffered brain damage while at a Matura Water Park on August 24th. He died while at the Sangre Grande Hospital this past Sunday.

He received antibiotic treatments but his family would have preferred that doctors operated on him to try to save his life, however based on the length of time his brain was deprived of oxygen, there was very little medically that could have been done to reverse the damage and save his life.
