Five persons were arrested for various offences in Operation Blue Line exercises conducted in the Central and North Central Divisions.
Acting on intelligence, an exercise was conducted in the Freeport district on July 3rd , 2023, during the hours of 4 am and 10 am, by officers of the Freeport Criminal Investigations Department and Warrants Section.
Three men between the ages of 25 and 32, were held in relation to House Break-ins, Robbery with Aggravation and Possession of Marijuana.
On the same day, two persons were arrested during a separate exercise, in relation to a report of Store Break-in and Larceny.
The exercise was conducted in the Central and North Central Divisions and involved officers of CID Operations, Chaguanas CID, Chaguanas Charge Room and the CCTV Unit.
These exercises form part of the TTPS’s continued efforts to tackle home invasions.
