This is how Tobago House of Assembly Chief Secretary Farley Augustine describes drifting in Tobago duding Easter celebrations on the island.
Augustine in a Facebook post said he has been trying to participate in a host of activities in Tobago over Easter weekend.
Augustine said he visited several church services, theatre productions, gospel concerts, brunches, cricket, and races; but he wanted to relive drifting with old friends.
The THA Chief Secretary joked about going against his wife’s wishes for his safety and took the leap of faith even without his friends and the THA Executive and security and jumped into a fast car.
Augustine said ”it kind of reminded me of the nights racing to country with my good friend Ackel Franklyn behind the wheels.”
