Farley Augustine’s advisor says “Tobago is in trouble”

Tobago is in substantial trouble.

This is the view of Tobago political analyst Dr Vanus James on the voice recording circulating on social media in which a man, whose voice sounds similar to THA Chief Secretary Farley Augustine, is heard discussing hiring persons in the THA to promote party propaganda.

Speaking on Power 102 Digital’s Power Breakfast Show, Dr James revealed that the recording is causing consternation.

He urged Mr Augustine to reveal whether the recording is authentic or not.

Mr Augustine has refused to address the matter and has avoided media appearances since the recording emerged.

Dr James, who assisted Mr Augustine and the PDP in developing their policies, described Augustine’s silence on the matter as “very troubling”.

He added that Augustine’s actions come across as “self-serving” and appear to reflect a lack of leadership.
