Police are on the hunt for a 44-year-old man, who beat his elderly stepfather to death during a land dispute on Saturday.
The victim has been identified as 84-year-old Evans Henry of Spring Road, Five Rivers, Arouca.
Officers responded to a report of an incident at the elderly man’s residence around 11:35am and upon arrival, found the man’s body in the yard.
Police were told that prior to their arrival, the stepson was seen vandalising the home with a hammer, following which he allegedly dealt the elderly man several blows about the body.
The stepson then fled the scene.
