U.S rapper, William Junior Maxwell II aka Fetty Wap, was recently arrested on federal drug charges.
The rapper was arrested along with five other people, including a New Jersey correction officer and charged with dealing heroin and fentanyl amid the Rolling Loud Music Festival.
While five out of six defendants were additionally charged with using firearms in connection with drug trafficking.
Search warrants in various locations tied to the ring yielded confiscations of roughly $1.5 million in cash, 16 kilograms of cocaine, 2 kilograms of heroin, numerous fentanyl pills, two 9mm handguns, a rifle, a .45 caliber pistol, a .40 caliber pistol and ammunition.
The rapper was “ordered detained pending trial.”
