The COVID19 pandemic has seemingly had a massive impact on SEA results.
This as more than one quarter of the students who wrote SEA got less than 30 percent in the exam.
Education Minister Dr Nyan Gadsby-Dolly revealed that, unfortunately, this figure represents an increase on previous years.
She added that the Ministry will embark on a vacation revision program as a means of combating the falling performance figures.
This program is expected to cost the state as much as 10 million dollars.
Minister Dr Gadsby-Dolly confirmed that COVID affected performance with children suffering what has been described as “learning loss”.
