Things are running slowly but smoothly.
This is the update this morning given by the Chief Elections Officer at the Elections and Boundaries Commission, Fern Narcis-Scope regarding today’s Local Government Elections
Speaking on Power 102 Digital’s Power Breakfast Show, she revealed that all polling stations across the country are open and voters are trickling in.
Mrs. Narcis-Scope added that Local Government elections are more challenging than parliamentary elections as there are more ballot papers and more logistical challenges.
She assured however that that the EBC has partnered with relevant stakeholders particularly TTPS to ensure law and order at all polling stations.
