Don’t suffer in silence – women are being encouraged to speak up

Women are being encouraged not to be afraid to speak out on matters affecting them.

The words of support came from young women who came out in support in Friday’s protest action against violence against women.

The protest took at Woodford Square, Port of Spain.

NEWS POWER NOW got views from men at the event who called on males to respect women.

Activist , Wendell Eversely, who said he walked from Arima to Port of Spain to the parliament as a form of protest  against violence in society appealed for constitutional reform to be brought to the forefront.
