The Water and Sewerage Authority is advising customers served by the Tucker Valley Pumping Station, who are still experiencing an interruption in their pipe borne water supply that, the facility has been returned to full operation.
It says the distribution system is currently recharging towards normalization and the supply to several affected areas, is expected to be restored over the coming 48 hours. This includes customers in areas served by the following Booster Stations: School Street, L’anse Mitan, Scorpion, La Horquette, West Vale and The Park.
WASA says a limited truck borne service will be available upon request. For further information or assistance, customers are asked to contact WASA’s Customer Call Centre toll free at 800-4420/26.
