Russell Chan Director of Love All Serve All who spoke on the Power Breakfast Show on Power 102 Digital this morning said that all displaced people need is a chance.
He said that he would support legislation to get persons off the streets but only if organisations such as his are involved in the process.
He said he believes that they need to be taken off the streets but in a humane way.
He said they need love and guidance.
Chan runs a food prep and distribution operation for the socially displaced.
He stated that many of them are just down and out on their luck, they may have lost their jobs and some may have drug addictions.
He disclosed that what is really needed is someone to believe in them and help them get back on their feet. He said when you interact with these people they are like normal people who just need a hand.
