A Diego Martin man is in police custody being questioned about the murder of Randy Scott who’s body was found off the Foreshore near the Audrey Jeffers Highway on the morning of August 26.
The police were alerted to the body on the highway and found the body with gunshot wounds to the head. The suspect denied killing Scott but admitted pushing him out of the car after he said Scott hired him to go to Morvant.
He denied killing Scott and said he only realized Scott had been shot and bleeding afterwards when he tried to push him.out of the car. He also said he ran after someone started shooting at the car in the area where the car and body was found on the highway.
The deceased Randy Scott was from Petit Valley. Investigations are continuing.
