Members of the Coast Guard and Tobago police force are currently investigating the discovery of a fishing boat filled with dead bodies, which was found drifting off the Tobago coast this morning.
The four deceased found on board the vessel are believed to be Venezuelan nationals and the boat was found adrift approximately six miles off the coast of Belle Garden by local fishermen.
The fishermen told police that they were about to head out into sea around 6am to ply their trade, when they spotted the vessel.
The boat was eventually towed to the Belle Garden Beach Facility by the fishermen.
However, special heavy equipment have been requested to take the boat out of the water.
