The Caribbean Examination Council (CXC), is continuing work to complete Queries and Requests for Reviews in order to finalize grades for the CSEC and CAPE exams for July/August 2020.
The organization says in addition to the Requests for Reviews, it has been reviewing borderline cases, in particular single grade changes, as well as the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics subjects.
It expects the process to be completed shortly and promised to provide a further update next week, via a media briefing.
CXC also acknowledges the psychosocial impact of the extended COVID-19 related circumstances, saying it has heard the concerns of Ministry officials, teachers, parents and students.
It assures these concerns are being addressed with further consideration of the hardships that students and their parents may have been experiencing.
