This country’s Covid-19 death toll now stands at 108, following an additional death.
The deceased is an elderly male with comorbidities.
According to the Health Ministry’s daily update, 24 new cases of the virus have also been recorded. Of the 24, 6 are persons who recently repatriated.
Three persons have been discharged from public health facilities and there are 152 more recovered community cases.
There are 974 active positive cases.
This includes 64 persons in hospital, 33 persons in step-down facilities and 877 persons in self-isolation at home.
T&T now has confirmed 5,692 cases of COVID-19.
