Chlöe and Halle Bailey clap back at blogger over slanderous comments

Chlöe and Halle Bailey don’t play around when it comes to others messing with their happiness, and the sisters have responded to an online personality who took that risk.

Soon after the Little Mermaid star attended Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour, some internet users began asserting that her relationship with rapper DDG has resulted in her being pregnant with his baby. Soon after the rumors began spreading, Chlöe chimed in, telling people to leave her sister alone.

“Y’all better keep my sister’s name out of your mouth,” she said in an Instagram Live video. “Thank you. Bout to get me riled the hell up.”

Blogger Funky Dineva had a lot to say about this. During a recent appearance on Tea-G-I-F posted on Wednesday (August 23), he shared: “I can officially say I don’t like her. Chlöe Bailey is so goddamn lame to me. First of all, girl, you are Miss Preppy Ashley from the suburbs. Then you came out being all promiscuous and shit, and now you’re trying to be a gangster. None of it is fucking believable.”

He added: “And I’m probably gonna catch a lot of backlash for this, and without that makeup, she ain’t cute. She never should’ve shown up on that camera with that fat-ass face without no makeup. You’re inauthentic, that’s why your shit ain’t selling.”

That same day, Chlöe tweeted: “lol people be so mad at your happiness. get help.” Halle then quoted the post, writing: “they need help immediately!!!!”

People getting too involved in her business has irked Halle Bailey for a while now. Recently, she basically told her fans to drink water and mind their business, especially when it comes to her personal life.

Her on-again, off-again relationship with rapper DDG continues to dominate the headlines as much as the ones about her professional goings-on, and she responded to all the unnecessary inquisitions in a TikTok post of herself with her man in May.

In the video, Bailey can be seen leaping up and down with glee as she runs up to the “Moonwalking in Calabasas” rapper. In the background, a remix of Beyoncé saying, “I am on to see my husband,” played against an EDM beat, and the video closed out with the pair kissing sweetly.

The comments on the video were mixed, with some people being extremely disappointed in Halle Bailey (one commenter simply wrote “sigh”), while others were overjoyed that she was expressing her love.

“She just told y’all to kindly mind y’all’s,” wrote one commenter, while another said: “And thats how u clear a rumor. letem knowww minddd y’all’s business.”

A third wrote, “allegations – cleared,” in relation to recent rumors surrounding the couple’s alleged breakup.
