Court and Process Branch of the TTPS closed as staff member tests positive for COVID-19

The Court and Process Branch of the TTPS located at Edward Street, Port of Spain, has been closed with immediate effect.

According to a notice issued by the TTPS this evening, a member of staff tested positive for Covid-19 and seven other persons were placed in quarantine.

The branch will be thoroughly sanitized and normal duties will resume on May 3rd May, 2021.

As a result, charge cases which were scheduled to be heard on Thursday and Friday, will be adjourned.
