Director of the Tobago Emergency Management Agency, Allan Stewart, says counseling and social support will be offered to the families of the two teenagers who drowned at the Argyle Waterfall on Sunday.
Kharisha Thompson, 15, and Chrislon Walters, 19, of Argyle drowned at the popular site on Sunday after a sudden gush of water caught them off-guard. They were attending a birthday celebration.
Speaking with News Power Now on Monday afternoon, Stewart expressed condolences to both families affected by the incident.
He advised citizens to pay attention to the weather advisories when planning outdoor activities.
Thompson was a pupil of Scarborough Secondary School.
