Cops hold 2; seize ammo, drugs and items with police insignia in Central

Police found and seized ammunition, drugs and several items containing Police insignia during anti-crime exercises in Central Division on Thursday.

While executing warrants at Tanteak Road, Carlsen Field, Gosine Street, Bank Village, Lions Drive, Orange Field Road, Calcutta #4, Freeport, officers went to house at Nelson Road, Freeport.
During the search, the officers found 13.8 grams of cocaine, 473 grams of marijuana, 10 rounds of 5.56 ammunition and several items with police insignia. The items were seized and the two occupants of the house were arrested. The men 32 and 37 are now assisting police with further investigations.

The exercise was coordinated by Senior Supt Simon, Supt Gyan, Supt Montrichard, Assistant Supt Ablacksingh, Inspector Sylvan, Inspector Estrada, supervised by Sgt Harriot and Cpl Motiram and included members of the K9 unit, Freeport, Criminal Investigations Department and Process department.
