Citizens are being asked to be responsible as they exercise their franchise on polling day on Monday. during the Local Government Elections.
The plea comes from Gold Commander for the Local Government Elections and ACP North West , Winston Maraj.
Speaking during the TTPS weekly news briefing held at Police Administration Building in Port of Spain Wednesday, ACP Maraj said all police officers on vocation leave have been called out to help boost the man power of the service for next week’s poll.
He said while the TTPS is ready to exercise its duties it is calling on the population to conduct themselves in an orderly way as they exercise their constitutional right.
