A 55-year-old Diego Martin man was found dead in Laventille on Sunday night.
According to reports officers of the Port-of-Spain Division were on patrol just after 11 pm when they received a report of a man lying motionless in a car on Pashley Street.
Police visited the crime scene and found the body of Richard Francis slumped over the steering wheel of his silver Nissan Wingroad.
Investigators said there were no marks of violence on his body.
A post-mortem examination is expected to be performed later this week.
Homicide investigators are continuing enquiries.
