A cricket camp will run for seven consecutive Sundays, between 9 and 12 pm from July 16 to August 20 at the Invaders Recreation Ground, Maha Sabha Street, Felicity, Chaguanas.

It is organised by the Member of Parliament for Chaguanas West, Dinesh Rambally, in conjunction with the Central Sports Cricket Club, recently crowned champions of the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board T20 Festival.

The coaches in the camp open for boys and girls between five and 17-years-old will include outstanding Central Sports players Rayad Emrit, and Imran Khan, captain of the team.

Also listed to impart his experience on the camp is former national captain Marlon Richards, and Amin Forgenie, along with four women coaches in a 15-member team.

President/coach of Central Sports, Richard Ramkissoon, said on Tuesday he also expected to feature in the camp are several exciting young Central Sports players.

Among those adding star power to the camp will be Kamil Pooran, Kjorn Ottley, and Mark Deyal among others.

Ramkissoon said the camp generated a lot of interest last year attracting close to 150 participants, and he expects that number to exceed 200 this year.

He praised MP Rambally for taking the initiative once more to engage the young children and have them engage in a healthy and physical outdoor activity which has the potential to unearth future stars of the game.
