Carifesta XIV kicked off with the arrival of several delegates from the Caribbean at the Piarco International Airport last evening.
News Power Now spoke with Marketing and Communications Officer Carla Cupid, who is attached to the Ministry of Tourism and Carifesta, who said that the theme for Carifesta, Connect, Share and Invest, will give persons an opportunity to monetize on their skill and live performances.
Cupid said that many times, persons within the Theatre and Arts field do not manage their work as a profitable business; however she assures that Carifesta XIV can be used as an opening to maximize on their trade.
