CAL’s Ligoure: Operations to be normalised by the end of the day

Caribbean Airline’s operations will be normalized by the end of today; the last charter will fly today.

This is according to CAL’s Corporate Communications Manager Dionne Ligoure who said that the operations as at Tuesday began to normalise, and that charters are now operating alongside scheduled flights.

She told Power 102 Digital’s Power Breakfast Show this morning the last of the charters are international flights.

Ms Ligoure said the airline hired chartered flights to move displaced customers who had been affected as quickly as possible.

Commenting on the criticism that the communication by CAL was inadequate, she said that the Airline will review the situation, so they can do better in the future.

She defended herself against criticism that there was not enough effort by CAL to communicate effectively with travellers, saying that she was not physically here when it happened.
