Customers can expect to pay a lot more for agricultural produce this Christmas season.
The warning comes from President of the Agriculture Society of Trinidad and Tobago, Darryl Rampersad.
Speaking during an interview with Izzso on Monday, Mr Rampersad cited the impact of flooding and an increase in agricultural input as contributing factors.
Mr Rampersad said the anticipated increase in crops this festive season is already in effect.
Mr Rampersad said this situation is having a significant impact on families and the decisions they make.
