The search for Royce Felix, who drowned at the Maracas Beach last week, came to an end as officers of the Air Support Unit located the man’s body floating in rough waters on Friday afternoon.
Felix was reported to have drowned at the Maracas Beach on Tuesday 13th April, 2021.
Since the report, Aviation Unit Manager of the Air Support Unit, Insp (Ag.) Ronny Rampallard and Tactical Systems Operator Cpl. Kirk Alfred conducted several drone aerial searches with the support of the Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard (TTCG), Fire Service (Santa Cruz Land Search and Rescue North Team) headed by ADFO Hodge and FSO Rose and the Security and Maintenance personnel at Maracas Beach Facility.
