Barrackpore residents have staged protests over bad roads in their community.
Speaking with members of the media on Tuesday, villagers stated the need for better road ways in the area.
They complained promises have been made to them in the past and the time has come to deliver on the commitments made.
The residents also commended the police for their presence during the demonstration and gave them words of support in the fight against crime.
